This presentation (PowerPoint slides) supported the talk on the basic core aspects of copyright and their relation to different library roles, as well as why having this knowledge is important and applicable to your work. The session also addressed strategies for engaging colleagues to get on board with managing copyright needs, while still being champions of open access and FAIR (Freedom of Access to Information and Resources).

This presentation (PowerPoint slides) supported the panel discussion featuring librarians in the public, school and academic sectors sharing their experiences of working overseas and in cross-cultural environments. From the Pacific Islands to Scotland, Vietnam and China, the panellists discussed the challenges and joys of working outside their comfort zone, taking their skills outside traditional library roles, as well as the logistics of making the leap.

This presentation (PowerPoint slides) supported the talk on the IFLA New Professional Special Interest Group (NPSIG). NPSIG is a worldwide group of library professionals who provide opportunities to engage and collaborate on a range of projects, from the annual IFLA camp unconference to sessions at the IFLA World Library and Information Congress (WLIC), and online webinars.

This presentation (PowerPoint slides) supported the workshop designed to help participants build the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in disruptive work environments. It included discussions and small games to get participants thinking about their core values, to build their intercommunication skills and encourage them to be flexible, resilient and adaptable.

Lattes & learning: building lifelong networking skills with GLAMRmatch [slides]

This presentation (PowerPoint slides) supported the interactive workshop based on GLAMRmatch, a facilitated networking program that answers the demand for networking opportunities which are neither casual socialising nor formal mentoring. Workshop participants learned how to build their professional network to share information and resources, develop collaborative opportunities, foster supportive professional relationships and cultivate their careers.
